WordPress gets a chunk of usability improvements
WordPress 3.3, code-named Sonny, has some nice usability improvements. A few of my favorites are:
- A drag-and-drop media uploader. The media uploader has needed an overhaul for a long time. The new uploader is much easier to use allowing you to drop files from the desktop right into the browser.
- Hover sub-menus in the dashboard. No more clicking to see the sub-menu animate open. Thank God. Just hover over a main menu item and out pops the options for that section.
